Our speaker for the 17th Annual Economic Outlook Conference for the year of 2024 is Professor Mick Normington.
Currently a professor of business at Lee College in Huntsville, Professor Normington has years of prior learning and experience under his belt. On top of earning two master’s degrees, Professor Normington has worked for the Austin Chamber of Commerce as well as the labor market department of the Texas Workforce Commission. You can check out his book, “Working Texas Style”, that summarizes his thoughts on workforce planning in Texas.
Tuesday, December 3rd, Professor Normington will journey to Sulphur Springs to share his findings on job demand, housing prices, unemployment rates, the price of west Texas Intermediate, and the direction employment is moving in Hopkins County.
