Not only can you purchase tires and have them installed at Tire Town, but they also offer alignment and brake services. Mike Gilmer, the owner of our Business of the Week, started as an employee in 1981. About four years later, he became a partner in ownership, and by 1990, he was the full owner. BUSINESS OF THE WEEK Hopkins County Fire Department We are excited to announce that our next #BOTW is the Hopkins County Fire Department!!! 🚒 Yesterday, we visited Station 20, which is the Central Station in our county and one of only five full-paid fire departments in the State of Texas. Station 20, along with 12 volunteer fire departments, work together to serve the entire county. The HCFD is also affiliated with the Emergency Management Department and Environmental Services Department, meaning that many of the men and women who work there wear multiple hats on the job! On Tuesday, we met with Fire Chief Andy Endsley to learn more about our #BOTW, the Hopkins County Fire Department. While we were with him at Station 20, he also told us part of his story too!…

They offer many services, such as pregnancy tests, ultrasounds and prenatal/parenting classes. They also offer referrals for adoption services and to local community services. Today, they manufacture and distribute a variety of western products, including boot supplies, hat supplies, wallets, buckles, jewelry, leather care and much more. Chester (pictured below, on the left) and Evelyn Eddins started out repairing boots and shoes in 1951, and eventually, business evolved into selling western boots and clothing. "Farm Country" was created in 1981, by Bill Frazier. He and his son, Rick, ran the business together for about 16 years, before Rick began a partnership with Danny Cooksey. The two are still running the dealership together to this day. BUSINESS OF THE WEEK CHRISTUS Mother Frances Inpatient Rehab Center Happy Tuesday, everyone! Our new "Business of the Week" is the CHRISTUS Mother Frances Inpatient Rehab Center!!! According to the director, Ben Pegues, their mission is to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, through a multi-faceted collaboration between case management, nursing and physical therapy. The goal of the rehabilitation center, in addition to that, is to provide patients with the necessary tools and therapy to help them recover from whatever unfortunate circumstance brought them there. Ben Pegues is the director over Inpatient Rehab, and he has been at the hospital since April of 2001.
